The Peace Process is a new project in the making focusing on the frequencies of peace and war; internal and external, timeless, personal and collective, starting with the body; through choreography, music/sound composition, film and installation.

THE PEACE PROCESS

New research by Flora Fauna Project 


SHORT NOTICE! Flora Fauna Project is looking for one dancer to take part in research for new work THE PEACE PROCESS.  Due to unexpected last minute changes in the cast we are now on the look out for an additional performer. We’re very excited to open up the process to include more dance artists for this work. Thank you all in advance for your time and application at such short notice.


THE PEACE PROCESS is new research by Flora Fauna Project (multi-disciplinary artist Stace Gill and choreographer Maria Nilsson Waller) to include a durational dance performance by a cast of 5 dance artists and a new film exhibition. Research phase 1 will take place in Laragh, co Wicklow, IRELAND between 29th of July to 9th of August 2024. 


Flora Fauna Project look for artists with artistic excellence in Dance and performance who are also are dedicated seekers, poets and truth tellers. If you are a Dance artist who would like to be part of our new work THE PEACE PROCESS here’s what we propose:


Please note, the dates for our first research period in Glendalough are July 29 - Aug 9 2024.  (It is necessary be available for the majority of this time, but not all of it.)


  1. Send us a video (max 5 minutes) and three additional links to your work.  The links do not all have to be videos of performances, they may be articles about your work, interviews, improvisations or any material you believe might show us who you are as an artist.
  2. The video must contain your movement/dance response to “THE PEACE PROCESS” as well as an informal spoken message from you to us about why you would like to be involved in this research.  The maximum length of video combining both dance and informal message is 5 minutes; to be split however you prefer. No obligation or need to fill the full 5 minutes if you can say and move your response in less time, it’s entirely up to you. 


Travel and accomodation will be provided. Fees are 900€/week, total of 1800€ for the residency.
