WELCOME BACK TO ROOM.

R O O M 2026 is an online platform that focuses on Peace and Democracy.  This is an artist led platform where we give R O O M to a diverse palette of voices that exist within our creative community and beyond.  It is a space to imagine, reflect, inform ourselves and listen for the realities, frequencies and complexities of peace and conflict; personal and collective.  We took our time with this edition of R O O M.  It has been incubating for at least 3 years now, and through this space we will share some of the invaluable voices we found in relation to this research.  This year’s  R O O M has been active alongside our production THE PEACE PROCESS, and in many ways, represents some of the research behind the scenes and creation process.

We have inherited a very violent and inequitable world. It’s deeply sobering as we try to come to terms with the realities we all face today from all corners of our earth, while we all also take on our personal healing paths and processes.  These

R O O M S are spaces and company, as we face the complexities of our personal, local and global dynamics. There is a past and present ocean of artists, activists, philosophers, scientists, humans who all have something valuable to offer this conversation. Like before, we want to make room for some of these voices and artists.  We acknowledge that we cannot cover all angles here, and this landscape is vast.  We started by focusing on the community available to us, which thanks to technology, reaches far beyond geography.   We will add to this R O O M for as long as it feels right, ensuring continued updating and diversity.
